Anchor Cone (Tube Unit)

Anchor Cone allows the transfer of prestressing force from the Anchor Head to the concrete segment. Anchor Cone guides the HT strand into the duct, facilitates
seating contact with the duct and gives free access to the injection of grout.
Anchor Cone is made of Cast Iron and is mainly used in prestressed concrete segments
and girders.

Anchor Head

Bearing Plate
Anchor Head gets located on the flat surface of the Anchor Cone & offers seating of wedges. Tapered holes in Anchor Head facilitate the seating of wedges and
holding the strands in stressed condition. Wedge holds the individual tensile element. The prestressing load is then transferred to the Anchor Head. Anchor Head is generally used in prestressed concrete segments and girders.

Wedges

These are conical shaped components slitted in three equal parts and held together
around the strand by means of special wire circlips. Thread on the concave portion
of each slit holds the strand like a jaw and ensures proper locking after stressing.
Proper Hardening and tempering treatments are done to achieve superior quality
and strength.
Live Wedges
Live Wedges used for post-tensioning systems. Generally used in Girders, Slabs etc.
- Single Use Live Wedges
- Multi Use Live Wedges

Master Wedges
Master Wedges can be used multiple times and for heavy tensile systems. Generally
used in Pre-tensioning, Hydraulic Mono Jack, HT strand Tensile Test and ete.
